This site collects no personally identifying information about you except when you knowingly and specifically provide it to us via email or other direct contact from you. We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We do not share, rent, trade, or sell any of the personal information you provide with non-related third parties.
We may disclose your personal information without your consent if we are required to by law or if Parthenon Framing has reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone damaging, injuring, or interfering with our rights, property, or users.
We request information from you on our order form. DISCONTINUING CONTACT UPON REQUEST
It is the policy of Parthenon Framing to communicate with clients according to their expressed preferences whenever possible. Parthenon Framing will discontinue or change the method used to contact any person upon that person’s oral or written request directed to the organization, its professional fundraiser, or other agent. Upon a person’s (or a person’s authorized representative’s) request that Parthenon Framing discontinue further contacts, the person’s name and address will be promptly modified in Parthenon Framing’s database to ensure that no further contact is made with the person. Parthenon Framing will also take steps to ensure that no further contact is made with the individual and that the person’s name is removed from any external databases or records under Parthenon Framing’s control. Oral requests will be noted in writing by the staff of Parthenon Framing and then permanently recorded in the electronic donor database. The records of persons who have made such a request will be maintained by Parthenon Framing to the extent necessary for legal or liability purposes.
Parthenon Framing may collect aggregate information site-wide, including anonymous site stats. We may also log domain names and/or IP (Internet provider) addresses. We review and discard some information (e.g., IP address logs for file transfers), while we might use some information to tailor your Web experience or generate anonymous statistics.
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you surf the Web. Parthenon Framing recognizes your browser, your operating system, and your IP address. We do this so we can diagnose site problems and track traffic patterns. This gives Parthenon Framing an idea which parts of our site you are visiting. However, we do not link your IP address to anything that could personally identify you. This means your session will be tracked, but you will remain anonymous.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Please note that sending data over the Internet is never completely secure. Although we will endeavor to fully protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of the data you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this policy at any time. If our policy changes, we will post a notice on our site.
If you have any questions about our policy, contact Parthenon Framing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
